Minimal meets bold. This painting is from the Beneath The Surface Series. This collection of works focuses on line, texture and the contrast between light and dark. The many layers are applied thin, creating texture and allowing the viewer to glimpse at what lies underneath. A bit like all of us, there’s more than just what you see on the surface, the history is only visible when you dig deeper, beneath the surface.
Original mixed media abstract painting (oil, cold wax, soft pastel on canvas), on 1.5” canvas, sealed additionally with a protective varnish. Framed in a simple wood floater frame.
